Nope. From the pics, it looks like a Canon mount. I think you would need an adapter to use it on a Pentax camera.

Thanks guys. I'd be pretty miserable if I ruined any of my lenses. I think that I'll goto a Harbor Freight and pick up a few packs.

Now I know that a lens needs a dry and clean area for storage. I plan to store some of my old lenses with silica gel inside a plastic bag. Problem is, I'm a cheapo and need money for more lenses. :) So, since my cat's litter is made up of 80-100% silica, depending on which brand that I buy, and also around 30-50% cheaper in my area; I was wondering if it would be a cheaper alternative to the silica gel packets?

This sounds a lot like my brother. He always annoys me about how my Pentax is not a Canon, or Nikon. Still, at the end of the day, he always loves the pictures that I take.

Even with the noise, the picture is still good. I'd play to play with a k-7 someday...

Hi fellas! I've been lurking the forums, reading and learning. I recently bought a "Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR-Zoom 1:4.5/ 85~210" Well, that's what it says on the front. It is also an m42 screw mount. My problem is that there are a few specs of dust or lint inside the lens, and I need to crack it open to repair it. There seems to be no instructions anywhere on how to open it for repairs. Anyone have any ideas? Does it open the same way as the other Takumar 50mm?

I just got my first DSLR camera, and I love it!
I'll be starting a lens collection for my K-x as soon as I figure out how to do trick camera shots. :D
