:confused:Bought the mate a K7 for Xmas. Did not get lenses to start with as she has lens from our superprogram and program plus that work manually with the K7.
Bought a SMC Pentax DA 50-200MM F4-5.6EDWR lens for her camera yesterday. At first we couldn't figure out how to get the auto focus to work, but after playing around for a while we got it to work by holding down the 'AF' button & the shutter button half was down both at the same time. Very awkward. Surely that can't be the way it was designed to work??
Second question - is there a 'DA AND a 'DA*' lens and if so is there a difference between a DA and a DA* lens especially with respect to auto focus?
