I sold hundreds of them when I was working at a camera store while I was studying at University back in the days of film. (Pentax was our major brand then)
Only a couple since I have had DSLRs.

I started off using the USB cable but have used an SD card reader ever since the computer I was using experienced a power surge on the USB port when I plugged it in and fried the camera USB circuits. Rest of the camera still works fine luckily.

That is the exact same setup I am running and very happy with. You will certainly notice the upgrade from your DL.

Hello Pentaxians,
My name is Adam and I have had a Pentax SLR or DSLR for the past 13 years. I got a Z-70 for my 21st birthday which I used for many years before I decided that digital was finally good enough for my needs and bought a K100D. 3 years later I bought my 3rd Pentax, a K7 which I am really enjoying using.
I've been enjoying the forum so far and hope to learn a lot more in the future.
