How about how man and nature interact with each other?

E.g, man made objects in nature like electricity pylons in fields, abandoned farm machinery in the middle of nowhere etc.

It would be good if you could use previous shots as well

After getting my negs done at several 1hr places, some of them are pretty good but generally I send most stuff to a pro lab these days as its about the same price and you get better quality for it!

Tmax P3200

When developed in a 'normal' developer' like D-76, Tmax 3200's actual speed is ISO 800. To get it at 3200 you have to push it 2 stops.

When done in a 'speed enhancing' developer like Tmax or Ilfotec DD-X or Ilfotec DD then its speed is ISO 3200 without any pushing.

Hope this helps:)

Replacement Rubber Feet for Slik 500G? Anyone know where I can get Something Suitable

The glue on the other feet isn't that strong that it would take a great deal of force, a decent pai of pliers should be able to pull them out

I would'nt want to replace the leg as my dad's one is the older version without the decals etc and it would be more obvious - I don't want him to find out.

Just found out something interesting - apparently Slik used the same feet for all of their mini-tripods like the 500G years ago which greatly expands my options as looking at a 450G which seems to be a lower speced model exactly the same but shorter the feet are identical

Compare the picture below to the feet I posted abive, they are exactly the same This darastically widens my options as few 500G's appear on Ebay but there are several 450G's.

Unfortunately the feet are glued in by epoxy resin or something, theres no thread on the legs inside and they are a bit wider than 3/8-16.

I have decided to resort to plan B, get another tripod and nick a foot off that, that way everyones satisfied, my Dad's tripod has all the feet and he will never tell the difference and I will have a tripod that I can hide away somewhere for a few years at my house until I move out and I could use if I put a rubber bung or something over the end of the leg.
Theres one going cheap on ebay at the moment so hopefully I will get it.

Here are some pictures of the feet, they don't come out their stuck in by glue or compression.

Things like this: Amazon.com: Induro Replacement RBR-1 Rubber Feet (set of 3) for Series 1: Camera & Photo
Look almost identical and if I got a set I suppose I could remove the current feet and somehow attach them.
Or I could get another identical tripod from Ebay and nick one of the feet off that.

Hi,

My Dad had a Slik 500G tripod that he got years ago. For the last few months I have borrowed it and been using it quite a lot for macro work as its perfect for the task. Unfortunately the other day, I noticed that there was a spectacular sunset in the fields behind my house and I rushed out with the tripod to capture it with my Spotmatic F and Velvia 50. I set up the tripod in the field which was a bit muddy and took two pictures before the light faded too much. I went to go, but I then noticed that one of the little rubber feet on the tripod had fallen off.
I searched around in the dark for it but eventually gave up and came back with a powerful torch, still didn't find it. I then went back in the daylight the next day, still no.

Now the problem. I emailed Slik's UK importer about a replacement but they came back saying they had searched their older spares and didn't have any nor could they find those feet being manufactured anywhere anymore.

Does anyone know where I could get a suitable replacement foot? I have found similar screw in ones, but the tripods ones are push in.

Wanted - Acquired: Vivitar Series 1 70 - 210mm by Kiron in M42 Mount

Hi,

I am looking for a Vivitar Series 1 70 - 210mm zoom in M42 Mount to use with my Spotmatic F and Zenit EM. It must be the version made by Kiron, these can be identified by the serial number beginning with '22' and having a max aperture of f/3.5.

It must be in good condition with no scracthes, fungus, oil etc. I am willing to pay up to £45/~$70. Please PM me to discuss postage as I am in the UK and its quite a hefty lens so it could end up being quite expensive to ship it from the US.

Is this still Available?

I have been trying to get one of these for a while, stupidly, I didn't get the one I noticed on Ebay last night. I delayed for a while and when I went to get it it had gone.
