Thank you for posting this - and now that some time has gone by, about how many weeks need to go by before the opinion piece hits their online site? Did you mention the full actual title of the piece?, it could ease future searches Thanks

Buy Feeder Online:... - Green Thumb Nursery - Lake Forest
Update 2: Please share this video now to help us SAVE hummingbird lives! Read how: WE ARE MORE THAN 94% OF THE WAY TO OUR GOAL!! This video has now reached more than 16.8 million people! Together, we are making a difference!
Our new mission with this video is to help spread the important message "Keep the Feeders Clean" to help save hummingbird lives. After going through thousands of comments we realized that MANY hummingbird lovers don't know that they should be cleaning their feeders every few days! Truth is, harmful bacteria grows inside the feeder's nectar if they aren't cleaned regularly and can actually kill the little hummers that we all love so much.
So, we want to make a commitment to you, help us spread the word and push this video to 300,000 shares and we will give away a FREE cleaning brush with our hummingbird feeder orders and we will include important information on how keeping hummingbird feeders' clean helps save hummingbird lives!
Please, please, please help us spread the word and share this video on your Facebook page and help us save our favorite little birds!
Original Post: Makes us proud to see this beautiful clip of dozens of hummingbirds enjoying one of our customer's feeders that they got at Green Thumb Nursery! Thanks Michele Perreault for sharing this great video of your hummies, we hope to see you and Melanie very soon!

Check the ingredients on the label for the clear stuff, they may likely contain chemical preservatives.

Yes, 1:5 sugar to water works just as well too.

Thanks for saying so Carol.
I always knew in my gut, it wasn't good practice for natural little beings to have synthetic dyes. But It was good to see the vets and rescue people saying so, now people will pay more attention.
Recently at Wallymart, I passed a display and couldn't resist reading the small print for some 'natural' red feed.
The ingredients I thought might be some harmless natural vegetable color for example... instead it was red no 40, an synthetic aniine dye. Yuck.
Maybe many other people with feeders will gradually get wind of it and help out too.
Best,
Nic

I used 1 gallon of water to 4 to 5 cups of cane sugar.
Seems dilute, but they liked it fine. At the time I lived close to a (most of the time), dry river bed.
I'd have to refill two feeders, 2-3 times a day during summers. It would be getting pretty busy!
Thirsty hummers. :- )

I don't agree. There are many times Pentax cameras either freeze or simply miss focus.
I don't see posters showing a simple bike riding weaving back and forth setup going toward the lens on either PF or DPR using similar tests.
Other brand cameras can do the very same test without a hitch

I think S. Spencer did a very good review for the KP, excellent in fact.
He gave very high marks on a number of areas, including that the KP
comes close to the Nikon D750 in image quality. If that doesn't make your
jaw drop, what would?
The fact that Pentax is miserable for objects coming toward the lens
with a simple test of riding a bike at you, it's the same ol' and hasn't changed.
But posting pics of huge objects flying across frame
in one direction is totally different. Apologizing for Pentax ain't gonna help. Pentax had
quite a bit more than enough time to improve tracking, video, etc but they haven't.
Other than that, SS called out the best and worst of the camera, as he should and did.
The Kp is one hell of good picture taking machine. :D

The following caught my attention: "SAFOX 11 New-generation AF sensor module with a high-speed algorithm"
Marketing or true?
I've seen many comments on the new algorithm, but what about a new AF module?
I'd like to see what Ricoh has to say on this. :) Features4 | PENTAX KP | RICOH IMAGING |

Thank you, Beholder. The interminably crazy-long threads are an impossibility to follow normally.
This is great.

"but the one thing that keeps tripping me up is that I keep accidentally bumping (and changing) the Drive Mode."
Not just this helpful little ditty, but all of these cool workarounds (and the reasons for them) are crying out for a compiled sticky.

Pentax won't be making only DSLRs in the future.
That should be making the point clearly enough :)

Do please delete this = I couldn't tell the difference between kenspo/0's.
I should have asked for I.D. :mad::mad::fedup::fedup:

"Q; Do you know any lens mount détails?
It's a new, electronic mount. I don't know more." Maybe just mockups at Photokina - Re: Pentax is back.: Pentax SLR Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review
To add what kenspo0 wrote in the Ricoh forum, because some people may go off on a tangent: "Thinking about it, they didn't tell me they would show new models ready for launch at Photokina. It could be prototypes or even mockups like the K-1 last year." Re: Ricoh (possibly) entering the mirrorless market by 2018: Ricoh Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review
"Q about flange distance? Re: Ricoh (possibly) entering the mirrorless market by 2018: Ricoh Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review
It's a new, electronic mount. I wasn't told more. I presume it has a shorter flange distance."
I'm guessing mockups, not completed bodies and lenses to show - If they decide to go through and announce it at all. Don't forget, Pentax takes it's time with things!
Imagine, two new mirrorless lines, apsc and ff and lenses for the two new additional formats, what an undertaking... has Ricoh hired a complete mirrorless unit, or are they divvying things up?
Wow, Pentax is really going places :0)
Since PF tends to go on forever with the longest threads - near impossible to keep up with for the nuggets if you only pop in once in a while (moi), try not to go too bat stupid crazy with this ;0P
Matter of fact, if there were some way to make those nuggets to stick out to catch up easily on the super long threads, wouldn't that be special?
