Amaurosis, I ended up doing just that. KX, K20d, 18-55 and 50-200 WR & 55-300 mm dal. Couldn't help myself and stayed within budget (1200)

thanks so much for the responses. I'm torn. I will be doing indoor shots but a lot of landscape and arch. as well. There is a lot of talk about the KX iso capability but is it overblown compared to what the K20d can do? So you prefer the K20d over the KX

Which should I get? kx w/ 18-55 & 55-300 DAL for $643 or k20d W/ grip & 18-55 & 55-300 DAL for $850. First DSLR purchase and looking for the best value and something I can grow into.
