I have this exact lens. a Vivitar 85-205 f/3.8 and LOVE IT. I was wondering a lens was made to pair with it but a shorter range, like 28-80 or something, I like the heft and construction and photo quality, thanks

Are there any under 80-100 dollar options.

I guess I better start saving.

Looking for a flash that will let me control angle and intensity. Not sure if those are the correct terms :D

I just want to be able to bounce it off the ceiling and walls and such and also control how bright the flash is.

Not sure if there is a cheap one, but I thought it was worth a query in here.

Sorry just to clarify, the photo has to have a face, in focus, or can the person be in it but the focus is closer or farther than the face?

thanks

Using what I have in my sig.

I know I dont want to shoot for longer than 10-15 seconds, so do I use my 500mm F8 at a higher ISO or will I yeild better IQ from my 50mm at F2 just blown up in Gimp, or is the best bet with one of my two zooms?

find a broom and stand it up against the wall, that should give some good contrast, then move it and timer away

here it is zoomed in a little, which is not as bad as the movement with the 500mm / venus picture.
