Well what a slew of creative and really super entries here. This was not easy picking a top 4 and winner...took me a while as there wereso many super creative entries that embraces the theme of the challenge. :)
So with that being said here are the top 3 and Winner. The winner has the privileged of hosting next weeks challenge and judging.
Honourable Mention:
Fotogaffer: Love the floor detail and yes it definitely has a 3D image feel....nicely seen and captured!
3rd Place:
fgaudet: Great capture of an ordinary chain. The lighting works bringing out the detail.
2nd Place
vroom_skies: This was really a toss up between your entry and first place. I love the fish, the bokeh and would never have guessed it was in your window. Well done!
WInner:
Orange KX: Great interpretation of the theme here. The door is sharp and the room out of focus suggesting there's a story here. I also dig the reflections in the handle. Well done!
Orange KX has the pleasure of choosing this upcoming week's challenge and judging!
Thanks again for all the great entries!

This weeks challenge is Something from Nothing; that is.... turning the mundane and ordinary into something interesting and creative.
*This challenge will run until Sunday March 9 to Friday March 15 at midnight MDT.
Thanks to Bruce Clark for hosing last weeks Challenge Simplicity and for doing a stellar job judging and commenting!
Every week, a new theme is picked and judged by the winner of the previous week. This challenge is Pentax-only.
Everyone is eligible to send in their best interpretation of the given theme, as long as the photo is taken with a Pentax/Samsung camera. Themes can be subject-oriented or technique-oriented.
Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Samsung DSLR) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.
Have fun and I look forward to seeing your entries!
