Hi - I am working with Pentax UK to get distribution in Ireland back to where it should be and am pleased to say we are making headway. Conns Cameras in Dublin have just agreed to be a Pro Centre and will receive stock of KX and K7 within January.

Hello, I saw a discussion about how little Pentax is available in Ireland. Well, I run Connell's Photographic Solution Ltd and aim to find new distribution channels for existing brands and I am pleased to say that I am now working with PENTAX UK to be their sales representative for Ireland.
We are beginning to make progress by opening a few accounts. By dealing directly with Ireland rather than going through a distributor we should see much more competitive pricing available to the Irish market. We have now appointed a Pro Centre, which is Conns Cameras in Dublin who will be receiving stock of the KX and K7 within January 2010. I hope to be able to get the fabulous Pentax brand the profile it deserves. Best wishes to all.
