Hi
I am looking for a cheap, good quality for value wide angle converter for 18-55 kit lens for K100D.
Any suggestions? Are these tele converters reducing the picture quality badly?
Thanks a lot.

Hi
I am interested in 'The Essential Guide to: Lighting Interiors - Techniques for lighting with small flash' - By Scott Hargis book, but the only thing I can find is an ebook for 47.5 dollars.
I was thinking if maybe there is a hard copy version that you dont need any more and is up for sale?
Thanks

Very informative!!! thanks a lot.
One more question, if I want to use YN-460 as an off camera flash, to fire at the same time as my on camera flash, do I set the off camera flash as S1/S2 mode or M mode? If S1/S2, then can I adjust its output power?

S0ldbear: Thanks for great response... and a good joke :) I meant two flashes and then decided to add one more at the end :)
Anyway since then the next flash i got interested in and that is Cobra D650. Looks cheap and decent, just what I need. It has good manual control (what I now decided I want) but I dont know much about its auto mode and general opinion about this flash. Do you know anything about it?
Thanks a lot.

jolepp - this is a bit too expensive for me.
Mike: could you expand on this? What an optical slave is? Any examples of cheap(ish) units?

Hi
Is there a chance, having AF280T on my K100D and AF200T on a tripod , fire both these flashes at the same time? And what would be the way to do this (cable, remote, wireless?)
Thanks

Hi
I have an option of buying Sigma EF-530 DG ST for a nice price. I have never used an external flash and I have few questions.
I have Pentax k100d super and I am not looking at P-TTL. I would like to use it auto matic mode where I need to match ISO/aperture to the camera's one, or in manual mode selecting the power level. Do you know if this flash have these options? Also, will it be possible to trigger this flash wirelessly ?
Thanks

Sound sensible, as my budget is £60 :/
Thanks for advice.
Now I am thinking if I should stretch a bit and go for Metz 36 AF-4 which is on auctions for £69. It has all I need but its head does not turn to the sides.
Apart from that, which would you recommend out of these two, and why?
- Metz 36 AF-4
- Pentax AF280T
- Nikon SB24 or 25
Thanks a lot.

I really want rear-curtain. This is one of only few 'must be' functions. I could potentially quit on head rotation (to the sides)

thanks jolepp. Is there anything out there with a little bit more of auto control (this flash has only High/Low functions i think). Also, does it have a rear curtain?
Thanks

Hi
My question is whether Pentax AF280T was a rear-curtain function when used with K100D?
Thanks a lot.

Hi
I am struggling for last few days to find an answer to my question. I have never used an external flash before and I am looking for one. I know what functions I want but don’t know which flash has them.
I have Pentax k100D Super.
I want a second hand flash which will:
- Have an option of operating in auto mode. What my understanding of auto is, that I need to set the ISO/aperture on the flash unit to match the camera set up.
- Have an option of using manual
- Have a function of rear-curtain that will work will K100D
- Have a moveable head (up/down and swivel)
- Can be used off camera (using lead or wireless doesn’t matter which)
- Will cost up to £60 (if possible)
Thanks a lot.
