the lens in question is a Sigma 105mm Macro.

Here is a pic of the mount as you can see the pin has been cut. Can this be fixed? would something like this need to be sent to a professional to be fixed or could it be fixed by an inexperienced person like myself do it?

I've recently come across a modified AF pentax k-mount lens where the pin was cut to fit another Digital camera. What will happen to the functions once it is attached to a pentax camera again? And can it be fixed?
