Took this on our family trip to Yellowstone. I got to try out my new ND fader...only in my haste of jumping out of the car and setting up my tripod - I didn't screw in the fader properly and got some light leakage! As Bob Ross would say, "there are no mistakes - only happy accidents!"

For BC in the Lower Mainland I've got some good deals at London Drugs (fa 50 1.4 for $260) Broadway Camera and Kerrisdale Cameras for their used stuff. I picked up a used Tamron 28-75 for $269 at Kerrisdale a couple of months ago...I guess this has nothing to with the original post but what the hey.

For anybody in BC...got my K-5 the other day from Broadway Camera - they matched a price from Aden Camera in Ontario for $1119. Only $40 less but 40 bucks is 40 bucks. Now I have to figure out what to do with my K-7..

Just picked up a copy of this lens the other day ($99, not too bad) - so far very happy with the results. It communicates perfectly with the camera, AF is...well..ok for Pentax, and the IQ beats the pants off my DA 50-200. It will make a good back up to my Tamron 70-200 2.8 that's on backorder....

Long time listener - first time caller. Been shooting for about 10 years. Started out with Nikon but I began amassing a collection of Takumars and couple of Spotmatic bodies. Finally this last year I sold my D70s and bought myself a K7 and a M42 mount adapter. I've been happier than a pig in poop ever since.
