Not true. I used it with K-01 and had no problems. Now I use it with k-5 II.

Here are my first quick results from a walk with my children. Overall, I'm pleased so far, except for 150mm fl, where it slightly softer than I would like. The sweet spot is between 70-100mm.
Some samples at open aperture, processed in LR4 to my liking:

With contrast af of K-01it is possible to focus and get sharp results at near MFD:

Definitely, I am the last to receive one. Russian express mail is so express :) Mine, I guess, has new firmware cause LiveView is working on my K-01. AF speed is fast and on par with original Pentax lenses on K-01. And no calibration needed, contrast af is always accurate. Thanks to OP for posting such a great deal !
