If Asus tablet has the storage on mini PCI-e slot then you can easily upgrade the storage. Also many vendors have started shipping the Asus Ep121. Though I would wait for the 128gb version.

It does seems that FF format has lost some of its momentum in last few years. Look at Canon FF lineup they haven't upgraded their 1Ds series for almost 4 years.

this dumb*** is saying Nikon D7000 is better than Pentax K-5 even when every review out there says otherwise.

The only cons are for the video mode so it seems a fair review from DPR.

ephotozine always give a fair review irrespective of the camera brand. Their pros and cons list is also based on how the camera performed not on a brand name tag.

Even I am worried about K-5 as it is sharing a similar sensor to Nikon D7000 and after reading those initial bad user reviews. I am postponed my plans of buying K-5 till mid next so that there will be sufficient time for the company to solve problems.

I dont think missing night HDR on K-5 will make any difference, as the K-5 is already capable of going all the way upto 51200 ISO.

Price of 1579$ is a little too high. Will wait for 6months for the price to drop. Also K-r is shown in stock at bhphotovideo with the new 35mm lens as a kit.:)

Since Pentax K-5 and Nikon D7000 share same sensor from Sony, it seems Pentax K-5 is going to perform a lot better than what K-7 does. Will still wait for some samples from users.

I had heard that Pentax was actually going the price the K-5 at around 1300USD at the final release, as the price of 1600USD was just tentative. But since they are selling at the price that they said during the initial launch would make K-5 a failure.
