I just have a quick question on this lens, I know it is a M42 mount but the sellers is saying that the lens. the lens comes with a Praktica LTL3 camera and this is what the seller says about the conditon of the camera/lens

"The lens seems to be in good shape there's no scratches or anything and it comes with a UV filter, The only thing is the mirror or the lens isn't lining up properly and it's tough to focus"

would the focus problem be fixable? or is this a common problem with the lens the seller is asking $55 is that a good deal?

thanks

I have the dakine mission it is not bad, it opens from the back so when you set it down on the ground to open it the part that goes against your back is not on the ground, and the camera block comes out so you can use it as a reg. backpack, it also has a rain cover and it can hold a tripod/snowboard/skateboard

the camera block is 15L
the dakine mission is 25L (with the camera block you have 10L of extra space)
there is also a dakine sequence and it is 33L (18L of extra space)

i am personally kicking my butt i didn't get the sequence

again do you have proof of this my panasonic Lumix has a Lumix lens not a Leica

"Lumix is Panasonic's brand of digital cameras, ranging from pocket point-and-shoot models to digital SLRs. Many Lumix models are fitted with Leica lenses that have been designed by Leica's German optical engineers and are assembled in Japan, some are rebadged as Leica cameras with different cosmetic styling. Leica had a similar relationship with Minolta in the past, where late model Leica SLRs (and some 35mm point and shoot models) were strongly based on Minolta bodies.

Most Lumix cameras use different releases of the Panasonic Venus Engine for digital image processing; the original version was followed by II, III, IV, HD (2008), V

I think that the L is for Lumix, i have a Panasonic camera that is a Lumix and it does not have a Leica lens on it.

Just wondering if you buy a DSLR that does not have AF micro-adjustment (ie K10) do you have to send it to pentax everytime you get a new lens? just looking for a cheap second body

thanks for the reply, would you happen to have a pic of the inside of the bag with all of your gear in there? I am 5'9 aswell so the waist strap won't be a problem. I am trying to track down a bag here in canada but this appears to be the wrong time of year to try and find a burton backpack:D
