Thanks for this thread! Came home today after finding it and had to build. Made a prototype from an old hand held tape recorder remote mic. (Had a handy on/off slide switch already in it so I used that for the bulb switch) with 2 momentary switches pulled from an old computer tower reset and power switch combo. Then, as I was operating on pulling those switches I glanced over and saw the perfect enclosure. An old PS/2 mouse. : ) Finished the first one to see if it worked , which it did, then started on the second. The left click and wheel switches are what I utilized, left for af wheel for shutter. Then pulled a micro toggle from an old 2-way radio for the bulb switch. Re-used the pcb, just isolated the switches by cutting through the circuit where needed, soldered the lead directly to the switches according to the diagram, soldered a 2.5 mm on the end and done, love it! Fits the hand nicely and in the bag too. Lead is only a few feet, but if I do another I will pick up some wire from RC and put 8 or 10 feet on. Again thanks for the plan!
Attached a few photos. The last one was me playing with the bulb button, can't wait to play some more! ; )
