This is from a few years ago. It is posted in the gallery, but that version is too saturated, so I re-processed it. This has no color enhancement, only some lighting adjustments.

In churches in Venice you can find not only all kinds of historic examples of beautiful art but also modern work.
This shot I took in the church San Giorgio Maggiore. Difficult to capture the breathtaking beauty of the sculpture but the light comming through the window helped.

Clearly need to find a better way to do this - linking to Flickr either gives me a small version or a huge one.

Still plenty of light in the sky for a good exposure. The colors are pretty much what the camera captured, maybe it was the polarizing filter?

Testing the tracking ability of the K1.
Worked really well.
This guy flew by me at a high rate of speed, used the 9 grouping focus.
This image was cropped in the K1.
Some detail is lost.
I’m sure if I took the time to crop it with a program, the result would be much better.
Not bad though for an in camera crop.

It happens. You are driving , take a wrong turn, then another and the road turns to dirt and then just ends and before long you are hopelessly lost in the dark forest.
