storing your photo files

I also got moved to revel. I don't like it yet. With my photoshop.com I was able to show off any or all my pictures quick and easily. Photoshop.com was nice, it would autosync for me. That made sharing very easy for and device anywhere.

I also have extra hard drives for the real storage.

I have never bought a Pentax lens. TOO pricey for me. I would LOVE TO buy them, but need to be more competitive on prices.

It depends on where the picture is going. If you work for lets say the highway department then #1.

If its a back ground for lets say a church songs then #2.

#1 Your eyes stay on the road, mountains etc.
#2 moves your eyes upward

Each TSA is different, but no you will not have any problems. Just tell them before the xray that there is a camera in your bag. Some TSA agents might have you take it out and put it in another bin. I never had to, but Im a pilot. Its rare but I have seen passengers have to take there cameras out.

When in doubt check your bag.

Have fun on your trip.

Halliburton loophole

"All Halliburton does is put cement in a hole in the ground." David Lesar President Halliburton

The rock and sand from that area where the well is drilled is reused in the cement mix along with water. They use Nitrogen for push the 'mud' down in the hole. Cement not what ever the New York Times says this week. They are the only major well services company. By the way it was Halliburton that incased the well head with cement that stop the gulf oil spill. And It was Halliburton that incased the hole that the miners were pulled from. Bet New York Times forgot to say that.

So I import my RAW files in, make what ever changes I would like to. And save it as a jpg to email to a friend.

What do I do with the .xmp file?
Does the .xmp file have to stay with the picture?

Thanks for you help

Sorry dont have a k20d, but

The higher the fstop the faster the shutter. ie f4 with a 1/1000 speed. However in kids sports you dont really need 1/1000, You can get a way with 1/250 and set the fstop for the light. That will open up your focus field and be more forgiving

Personlly I would shy away from the teleconverter, it basiclly makes your f4 lens now an f8. which will kill the action.
