I have a Contax IIa which I inherited 2 years ago. I have yet to try it out!! I have been ill (heart surgery) and when I feel well enough to get out I always want to take the Pentax Kx. That's what I learned on about 4 years ago and I don't know if I want to take the time to learn film. I've considered selling it but not sure the best route to take.

It has the Zeiss-Opton Sonnar 1:2 50mm T - I'm going to buy some film today. I live in the mountains so I'm going to get out and take some shots with K-X and with the Contax.

I inherited a Contax IIa at the first of the year and haven't taken the time to learn it. I keep saying I'm going to just get started but digital is just the answer to this beginner's dream. My K-x is so great, it will be hard to "load film and take it to get developed".

Thanks Stevebrot and PGillin. I'm not sure if I will keep - I'm just learning digital, I can't imagine what I could "not do" with a film. Even if I sell, I guess I need to get it checked find out the condition. It shows very little wear - the leather case looks a little rough but the camera looks outstanding.

I have just recently inherited a Contax rangefinder with a Zeiss Opton Sonnar 50mm lens. I don't know anything about the Contax - actually I had never heard of it until we found it in a dresser after my stepdad died. I am new to the camera world so I don't really know anything about this.

I have a brand new baby, it was delivered by my sons - oh, not a real baby-baby but a Pentax K-X for Christmas. I have always enjoyed the great outdoors and art and history. Seemed like a combination for photography so that's what I said I wanted for Christmas. So now, I'm the proud owner of a Pentax and a new hobby. It's a long story but I did tell them I wanted a Pentax. I am having fun with it but will I ever learn all the settings and options. Hope to learn from all the Pentaxions(?) here and have fun in the meantime.
