these are some of the first pics i took with my new k-x, just a beginner and would love some feed back by the way there all unedited and i feel these are the best for me to date.(i know there not great but im just starting:D)

yea this was all in like a 10hr period...and 25 miles out of town a major ski resort got 45inches in the same amount of time..and few hundred miles away in valdez they got around 10+ ft in just about a day and half

i know its not top notch but its still a decent prime lens to get me started and im planing on buying a m-50mm/f1.7 from a friend for only 10dollars...he offered to sell it after i had already bought the other lens, just my luck haha

i will definitely post some pics here soon...hoping ta get some great pics from the start of the iditarod....be the first year i have a really nice camera and hoping to get some amazing close-ups:p

no its deffinatly a F/2 but still a greatlens correct? im way up here in alaska so my only way to older primes is pertty much ebay and the associated shipping up here

1:2 i just re looked at the pics he sent me...so i guess its an f/2? still a decent lens...its defiantly an "a" series

so i just bought said lens for 65$ off ebay and i realize that it is much much much lower then the estimated price in the lens review section. but i did my home work and even called the guy and talked to him and everything sounds legitimate. am i just a lucky one and picked it up before everyone or am i in for some horrific discovery haha, worst case scenario i see is that i paid for a lens with optical errors and im out just 65

was wondering if some of you guys could post different prime lens pictures...preferably some different focal lengths and apertures so i could see how the picture looks other then the usual 50mm.

hey guys im brand new to the forum and to digital dslr's. i live way up here in Alaska so i have a lot of cool angles and scenes to shoot but not alot of pentax people to talk to. ive always been into photography and moved my way up from 35mm slr, to bridge cameras(about two years with those) and finally took the plunge and up graded to a dslr (made it easier sense i can write it off on my taxes for college:p).
so to my question. ive been reading alot of threads and scene alot of people talking about a "m 50" lens and was wondering what that is, my current lenses are 18-55 kit lens, 50-200 sigma, and a 8mm fisheye, does one of mine cover it???
