Pentax LX Body w/Winder, CLAd Asking Price
US$ 500 Item Location
New Jersey, USA Item Description
Pentax LX Body w/Winder: $500/US; $525/Int'l
Prices include Priority shipping and paypal fees.
This is a like-new Pentax LX body, just back from servicing at Essex Camera Service. Includes body and winder, as shown. I probably have a spare body cap, will include it if I find it.
This camera may not have seen a roll of film, there are no signs of use. Everything seems to work as it should, though it hasn't been film-tested. I'm not sure what else to say, these are great bodies, they are not often seen this clean, and they usually need servicing, so finding one already serviced is a huge plus. If I were still shooting film I'd be holding on to this very tightly.
I've sold here before, have more feedback on Rangefinder Forum and ebay. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

Thanks for the explanation. Looks like a $20-$25 hood, making the lens $70-$75. Not a bad deal. The lens is sold and paid for, thanks to all for the interest.

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Pentax 100/2.8 SMC-M w/Hood, CLAd Asking Price
125.00 Item Location
NJ, USA Item Description
Pentax 100/2.8 SMC-M: $125 US; $135 Canada; $150 Int'l; incl. hood, rcap
This 100/2.8-M short-tele prime lens is just back from a CLA. It looks great and functions smoothly, but has a tiny optical imperfection, noted below. Includes lens, correct hood, rear cap and UV protective filter. Price is in US$ and includes Priority Mail Shipping and paypal fees.
I sold this lens here last month, but I missed a couple of small internal fungus trails along the edge of a rear element. The CLA eliminated this almost entirely, leaving two small residual spots, one just under 1mm in diameter, the other under 0.5mm. You won't likely see them unless you use a _very_ bright flashlight and look carefully, but they are there. I'm confident they are too small and inconsequential to adversely impact image quality, but I'm pricing the lens a little lower now, after the CLA, to reflect this.
Fresh from service, focus ring is smooth and well-damped, aperture ring turns smoothly with good detents, aperture blades are clean and oil-free, with good return spring tension.
Cosmetically very pretty, you'll have to look closely to find any use marks. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Pentax 24/2.8 SMC-K w/Hood; CLAd Asking Price
125.00 Item Location
NJ, USA Item Description
Pentax 24/2.8 SMC-K: $125 US; $135 Canada; $150 Int'l; incl. hood, rcap
This 24/2.8 K-type superwide prime lens is just back from a CLA. It looks great and functions smoothly, but has some slight optical imperfections noted below. Includes lens, correct hood, rear cap and UV protective filter. Price is in US$ and includes Priority Mail Shipping and paypal fees.
Front and rear element surfaces are free of cleaning marks and other coating flaws. Glass is mostly very clear, but there some very small internal scattered spots along the edge of one of the front elements, probably small areas of separation. They are very difficult to spot, you'll only see them if you shine a _very_ bright flashlight through the front, view through the rear, and tilt the lens at a fairly extreme angle. Anything short of this they'll go unnoticed, and I don't think they will impact image quality, but I want my descriptions to be thorough.
Fresh from service, focus ring is smooth and well-damped, aperture ring turns smoothly with good detents, aperture blades are clean and free oil, with good return spring tension.
Cosmetically very pretty, you'll have to look closely to find any use marks. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

Yes, "LENS MADE IN JAPAN" (all caps) is inscribed on the backside of the barrel, just above the aperture ring, 180-deg opposite the aperture index mark. Any significance to this?

Hi all, I'm new to the forum here, recommended from the Rangefinder Forum by Chris Platt. I've bought/sold on RFF for a few years now, lotsa positive feedback on ebay. I have a couple of nice Pentax lenses to sell, thought the members here might want a look.
Pentax 20/4.0 SMC-M: $450 US/Canada; $465 Int'l
Pentax 40/2.8 SMC-M: $150 US; $160 Canada; $175 Int'l
Prices include Priority Mail Shipping and paypal fees.
Both lenses include rear cap and UV filter.
Got these in the midst of Micro-4/3 fever, but they're not getting used at all....I'm hoping for a quick sale to readjust lens arsenal before heading down to NAHBS. Anybody else going?
Both lenses were recently CLAd at Essex Camera Service, both are in like-new condition. Clear glass with no haze, fungus or coating damage. Smooth focusing, aperture rings smooth with good detents. Aperture blades free of oil with good return springs.
The 20/4.0 is uncommon, fairly compact and a great shooter. KEH lists LN- at $525, Kevin Li is close to $600 for "Minty."
The 40/2.8 is a true pancake, almost beyond compact. Makes a neato micro 80mm short-tele on MFT sensors.
