You can delete your account in Facebook, but if one of your photos was shared, you donīt own it anymore, and you can delete it...
Iīm sure, Iīve read the info about it... Sorry but I canīt give you the link for it.
Just google about the info... Iīm sure you will find it.

In Facebook, THEY own your photos, and if the photos were shared, you canīt erase them...
In Google+, YOU own your photos...
Isnīt that enough for you to decide to swap??
No comments about the 1st generation thing... ;)

The UK version comes with Fog enhancement menu, and tea time alarm... The Aussie has a strange noise like someone is playing some old Vuvuzela horn... and the Japanese one, has a new function that makes anyoneīs eyes really big and round (manga eyes).
Iīve installed the Japanese, and Iīm thinking about a future exhibition... "Pentax cos-play photos" :P

Ok... Iīm a little bit busy right now to post my pics here, but you can check some of them on my other Facebook page:

All the pics are JPG, exactly as taken with the k-5, just resized and compacted by facebook for the web (a lot of quality loss), but are good for a sample of this camera capacity for low light shooting...

My K-5 arrived today! Itīs stain-free, and Iīm terribly happy!!!
Tomorrow, I will go to a concert and take lots of pics for a national weekly jounal. Will post on weekend about it!

I donīt think is a "limited" edition... did you realized that the focusing screen is a standard one, instead of the "limited" focusing screen that the silver k7 had?
I think maybe Pentax is making just a different K-5, for the people who like the silver versions.... we will see what the future brings...

Well... there are only 2 press photographers shooting with Pentax in my country... One is my father, the other is me (and Iīm not getting any money for my photos yet). The other "serious" photographers just shoot with the 2 "dark side" cameras.
But anyway... there are not so much Pentax DSLR cameras here (we donīt even have a serious pentax representative or sales company in my country).

Kiwis are like Penguins... they canīt fly. But they are not like in certain countries, where only 20% of the citizens vote, and 100% cry about the bad economic situation...
I wish some ******s (as a british friend call them) stop whining and look at the bright side of life (as the Monthy Pytonīs sung). Didnīt you realized that the k-5 is a great advance? If you donīt, just keep the camera you have already on your inventory, or go to the dark side (soncanikon). Who freakinīcares about your f**king tears??
Iīm tired of this stupid discussions and tears. One day you say "wait for photokina and you will amazed", and the other day you begin with whining against Pentax because the K-5 is not better than the D3s...
Iīm happy! Yesterday I sold my k-20d for 1100 U$S, and as soon as I can, I will get a k-5 and keep shooting pics as yesterday, and maybe with better quality on high Isoīs...
Now you can say whatever you want about this post... I really donīt care!

I agree with you, but thatīs because there is no K-5 in "fire-brigadeīs red", or maybe Pentax is preparing a special version for the Dutch Carnival...
Iīm sure you will have your new toy before me, anyway, and I hope you post great shots as allways so I can watch them.

Iīm not telling you that I have any info... but... Who knows if the leaked info about the K-5 being aps-c is true? Who can prove that the 16mp info is true? Are you aware that all the info and threads around the K-5 are just hints around that info that suposedly was leaked???
I donīt think that anyone knows what are they talking about... do you think I know anything? Do you think I can be more informed, being from a little south american country? we donīt even have a real Pentax representative...
But... What if???

Whatīll happens if the K-R is the only APS-C and uses the K-7 body and the K-5 is FF with a totally new body and functions??
What if everyone was making supositions like allways and no one knows anything?

As Falk Lumo said some time ago:
"I smell FF for 2010.
DA 60-250 was delayed. I still have to run my lens test over Xmas to see if it rates +++ as a FF lens. If it does (and it may well do) then the lens situation isn't that bad:
FA 31, DA*55, DFA100WR (NEW!!), DA*200 primes (new tele coming?)
1.4x (FF?) converter (another curious delay ...)
DA* 60-250/4 zoom
The only lens missing for a launch would be
DFA* 24-70/2.8 zoom
(It should be noted that an 1.4x converter makes a sharp DA lens full frame capable by definition (it magnifies the image circle).)
I mean, why not call the DFA100WR DA100WR and ignore the 35mm suitability if APS-C would be carved in stone?
The problem I see is that a FF body implies a comittment for the SLR business I don't see Hoya is yet ready to make. But this must not prevent them to develop the body."
So, if the TC can make the lenses FF... Why not a FF body? What if they do it?
