Thanks for the suggestions
For the time being she uses my 18-55, I just hoped someone knew a secret AF prime, I didn't know of.
My daughter has been using a PS but just really likes the viewfinder and feel of and SLR (like father, like daughter)

So my 6 year old daughter got my old k100d but need a lens. The problem is that she cannot use a zoom lens.
So I look for an extremely cheap AF prime. And yes I know the F50 F1,7 is considered cheap as wells as the new 35, but since the budget is nonexsistence, something like the zoom lenses with autofocus you get thrown at you at eBay, is needed. I dont care about quality or f-numbers. But autofocus is everything.
Do any of you knowable people know of a thirdparty or original pentax lens which meets the above standards???

Hi
I Got one myself and love it. yes it's a little soft wide open, but yours seems to be fine. At f/2 the depth of field is minimal, and your pictures is sharp enough where it matters (the eyes). And the bokeh is wonderful!!

Thanks
Autofocus isn't really important, but being a prime is.
I don't own anything adaptall, but that shouldn't prevent me from the tamron 24, sounds interesting.
What I forgot to mention, is that size matters, so a deep hood would be a little annoying.

Hi
I have the Sigma miniwide 28mm f2,8 (old version) and love the angle of view, could use a little more sometimes though, but in sunlight it just shows the ugliest flare, and all contrast is lost.:(
I need more resistance than a hood alone can provide
So I need a cheap (max $100 approx.) wideangle with good flareresistence (like the famed 15 ltd.)
So what would you suggest? and if you have pics to backup your choices, I would be delighted.
some ex of the flare both with and without the sun in the frame both stopped down to f11 or smaller |

I like the completely white surroundings, but compositionally I would have put her in the lower left corner or just giving her a little more headroom at the top. just a personal oppinion

Nice mood and balance with the HDR.
The building in the lower left corner spoils it a bit for me, it seems distracting and out of place.
I love the timeless feel the rest of the frame exhibits.

My birthday present from the inlaws finally arrived: A Jupiter-9 :-)
it sure is beautiful.
Certainly nothing wrong with it, but my first experience with a m42 adaptor wasn't as pleasing.
My original pentax-m42 adaptor has a little slip or wopple when I focus. just rotational, but still a little bit annoying. So is this normal behaviour, or is my adaptor a bad copy.... Hope you guys can help me.
And of course the first picture (my daughter), wide open or f/2,8 |

Well we do have a japanphoto (JapanPhoto.dk) too, other options are kamerahuset (Kamerahuset) and bingofoto (Bingo Foto - De hjælpsomme fagfolk!) has sale rightnow. All of them have shops in copenhagen. Sadly not every photoshop in copenhagen have pentax, but if you know where to shop its not hard to find pentax gear. Maybe except for lenses.....

Thanks alot Bobpur, I didn't realize that I could just unscrew the mount, which is an Olympus OM by the way. 10 aperture blades as far as I can count...

Hi helpful people
My mother in law has somehow gotten an Ozeck 135mm f/3,5, with a odd mount. Cosmetically its near perfect, so I was hoping someone could help identifying the mount, and suggest how (if possible) to convert it to pentax.
Thanks in advance |

Thanks. I didn't thought about closing the aperture a bit, plenty of light though.

Number 3 is best imo, the other pictures are too busy, while number 3 has a more calm composition

Fine portrait and the atmosphere is perfect, but a little less headroom would work better I think.

That is just beautiful light, and impressive captured. I must say less of the dark cloud and more country would, for me at least, be even better.

I really like the minimalistic expression, but think its would benefit from a little rearrangement in the composition e.g. the left dark pole seems too close to the background middle object. Just my oppinion
