I got an LX that sat for probably too long and unfortunately my excitement for it has been a little bit tempered. Like a good little boy I got it CLAed, and after the CLA it caught a case of sticky mirror syndrome, which my repair shop was good enough to take the camera back and clear up. However, now there's just one little extra issue. When the camera sits for a couple of hours there is a lag before the first shutter activation. Once the shutter is fired or the mirror lock up is used though, the camera is good to go. Has anyone experienced this? My repair shop is stumped.

It's great to hear that you've picked up film and joined us. Welcome to the club. I have to say though, I absolutely agree with you. I love the rush of getting my prints back and seeing what I have.

I've been following this thread for quite some time now, partially because I had the same questions/quest as Gerry and partially because I loved seeing the pics of everyone's setups. I have to say, I think it was Steve (maybe someone one else here...It's too late to think straight) who said that he thought that this may be the friendliest forum on on the friendliest camera site and I think that as we're now on page 12 of a discussion that probably is more appropriate somewhere else (RFF comes to mind) I think proves this right. Thanks for all the great discussion guys.
