Hi everyone,
I'm new to the thread and photography. I recently bought a k2000 dslr and although the pictures with the kit lens are good, I have recently started using the body with the old Asahi 50mm F/2 lens from the k1000 camera. Found it lying around in the house one day. Does anyone still use that lens?
Being new to photography, would the 50mm F/2 lens produce the same type, quality pictures as the smc FA 50mm F1.4 other than the fact that there's a difference in aperature size and auto focus?
Is it worth just sticking to the Asahi lens or just buy a new one?
