The story of this lens is that while at Disney World, my then 3 or 4 year old kiddo who was fighting against taking a stroller nap and swiped my camera off the bench it was sitting on, and onto the concrete.
1' fall or no, you can see the lens hood took a hit and is a bit dinged up. It still accepts filters, as the screw on hood was damaged. The zoom between 30 and 35mm requires more pressure to turn than it used to. No grinding, just tension.
Everything is functional, just the damage to the hood and the tension during zooming. On account of this I've set the price low and the condition at Poor.

This lens was always in my bag and often on my camera. I purchased it new, and I've taken it all around the world. It (and the 16-50) went everywhere.
This lens has had no SDM problems that I can recall. It has always had the SDM squeak, but no failure or slowness.
I can maybe see a speck of dust or two looking through the lens, glass is clean, no haze, no fungus. Focus is smooth. Autofocus is quick. Aperture snappy.
In one of the pics, you can see a close-up of the mount for the hood. The very tip of the plastic separated from the barrel and I used superglue to re-attach. It's spent years like this without trouble, but you can see the repair.

I purchased this Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Lens for Pentax from B&H.
I used it probably 30 times, but I've moved to full frame and no longer need it. I really wish that Sigma made this in FF instead.
Lens is pristine, with maybe one scuff on the hood.
Glass is clean, no haze, no fungus. Focus is smooth. Zoom is smooth. Autofocus is quick. Aperture snappy.

I never confirmed if this serial number is low enough to have the leaded glass. If you're interested, you'll need to research.

This is the highly sought after Pentax 43mm with leaded glass and/or different coatings. Note the blue tinge to the reflective qualities of the glass.

It went to Pentax warranty service for SDM failure 3 times. On the 4th failure, I converted it to a screw-drive. Since then the focus has been substantially faster and more accurate.

Used some but not a ton. It's a great lens, and still works as good today as when I bought it. I've upgraded and no longer need it.
The Power Zoom on this lens works and is snappy.
Zoom has one "hiccup" around 45mm, but works ok.
Manual focus is smooth. Screw drive focus is snappy.
Barrel and hood show signs of use.
Dust is visible in the lens, but never impacted my image quality. No scratches, no mold, no haze.

This was my favorite lens for photographing the thermal features in Yellowstone. I've since upgraded and no longer need this lens.
Edit: If you're revisiting this part, the dots cleaned off the lens front element with Zeiss lens cleaner.

This lens is missing its filter ring (as pictured). I haven’t a clue why. It takes great images, everything is fully functional, it’s just missing the filter ring.
Glass is clean. No marks that I can see. Some small dust inside. Smooth focus.

Note the picture, there is an exceptionally small nick on the back lens. I can’t imagine that it could impact quality any more than dust, but you should know it’s there. Priced as “poor” condition. Everything working. Original front and back caps.
