I've had the DA 15mm for a long time, and it simply is not sharp edge to edge, but it is great for shooting into the sun. On the K5 sharpness was less of an issue, but on the K3 it is very noticable.

Some really beautiful pics here. The winner is truly an amazing shot.
I personally did not vote for pics that had a person, animal or building as a primary subject, feeling that they were not what I consider to be a landscape.

Nice capture. Looks to me like a bit too much clarity or dehaze in post. Love the scene though.

The lighting and composition of the leaves is nice, but I find the post distracting

While there is a lot going on in the first shot, it seems to capture the place nicely, and it gives better contrast to the tree than the second shot.

Very interesting, with the two primary points of interest. I would have considered moving the camera lower to get the vanishing point of the perspective to be closer to the lower left corner. Perhaps this could not really be done without a shift lens.

In contrast to the first poster suggestion for I cropping, I would crop out most of the watery grass section in the bottom of the frame. This leaves you with just the brightly lit tree, a bit of grass for it to sit on, the faint tree line in the background and the bright fog. To me, that is what the picture is really all about.

I would crop out the trash cans, but keep the palette. Agreed that only keeping the graffiti is too static.

I really like the image. I would consider cropping a generous portion of the foreground
