So quick update, I have been in contact with pixsy.com and after doing a preliminary review of my case with all the proofs, they feel it's strong enough and decided to send it to one of their law firm for further review and action.
Still no guarantee right now and it usually takes 3 to 6 months to resolve a case so we'll see.
It probably wont be much money on this case, but at least, I hope that having a law firm contact the blog owner should scare her enough to start paying for her photos from now on! :)
No I didn't have any copyright in the exif on this shot.

Sharing a shot from a paid photoshoot I did yesterday.
I used the Cheetahstand CL360 inside Ricebowl90 ( deep octabox) as my main light.
The DFA* 70-200mm amazes me a little more every time I use it! :-)
I showed this shot on the lcd to the mom yesterday and she was already in love with it!
Going back to editing the rest now! :-) |

Yes, I hear you, I use Pixsy.com and I actually found out about 20 of my photos got stolen hundreds of time, by so many little websites or personal pages, its useless trying to go after them.
The specific one I mentioned in this post seemed different (more important) and maybe worthy for me to go after, but maybe I'm wrong..
Yes, this is actually because of them that I found out about it. Im trying to dig more about them and the actual process to make sure they are good at it and the risks involved as well for me.

Exif: 1/160s f/10.0 at 50.0mm iso200
Shot RAW. Tech info: i used a Godox Ad180 strobe behind the glass pointing towards the camera, shooting through a white diffuser at 1/64th power, that's about it. :)
Post process work only involved cleaning up background to a perfect white and cropping. |

Well, I just got my K-3 a couple days ago.. Very nice upgrade even from my K-5!
Here's a couple quick portraits with it. The first one is all natural light with the FA77mm, I used a wireless flash on the 2nd one, shot with the DA 50mm.
I'm loving the extra resolution for sure! :)

I've seen this kind of shots done many times and always wanted to try it, so here it is! :)
Pretty happy with it and actually much easier to do than i thought!

DIY studio, with 2 reflectors on each side of glass and one Godox Witstro AD180 strobe shooting in full power behind black background. |

Here's a few samples from a Doctor Who theme shoot, with a friend obviously crazy about the show.. :D
He kinda looks like the 10th doctor, originally played by David Tennant, so we went with it!!
The post production is a little on a gritty, very sharp side on purpose, to fit the fantasy look of the show :)
All taken with K5.
Exif data is posted before each shot.
