figured it out. The meter switch was up which engages a component at the bottom of the body(where the lens threads in). Turn off meter-fine.

Greetings, I just received a Flektogon 35mmf2.8. It is an M42 mount(i believe). The threading is the same as the spotmatic bodies I have. The trouble is, I can thread the lens all the way in without difficulty all except for approx 1 mm. The lens seams to stop at this point and will not tighten down. My guess is the aperture release pin, which is long, is jamming on something. Any experience with this?
