Crazy how quickly models move.
I'm still learning with the K5IIs and hopefully it will serve me for many years, it replaced my K100d (which still is in great shape and takes wonderful pics).
I'm happy to see all new K5IIs owners getting this amazing camera at such a great price!

I think its a great lens, I'm fortunate to have picked one up for a good deal, this review I feel is quite accurate, I've been really impressed with the colors it produces.
That being said, it is rare, and there a lot of people who want it as a collector's item and it causes the prices to go above what it's worth.
Looking the price ~$150, I'd say pull the trigger, unless you're comfortable sitting on the sidelines and waiting, but that may be for a long time..

I enjoyed attending PhotoPlus 2012 and visiting the Pentax booth where I was able to talk with the staff and try out a number of lenses. That experience helped me to make the decision to purchase a K5IIs. I can't seem to find any information stating that Pentax will be back this year. Would anyone happen to know if there will be any Pentax presence this year?

I will be in NYC next week and would like to know if you know when you might have K-5II and K-5IIs models on display?
Do you typically have them on display as soon as they are available? ( or earlier? ETA? )
Do you have any insight into the amount of inventory of these models you will receive vs what has been pre-ordered?
