I agree with you guys..This needs a little tilt and correction..Thanks for pointing it out..

Thanks for your comments guys..he lights that looks as Bokeh's are nothing but the Christmas color lights that was tied to a pole. I placed the Cup at a good distance and focused on the cup. Making the lights in background out of focus making them beautiful bokehs.

True this Lens Rocks..

Tried Some Bokeh effects at home using my manual F1.7 lens.Do let me know what you guys think of this.

Winter makes you try lots Indoors. All Ideas appreciated.

Hi All,

First of all, I was amazed to see such a huge crowd at a narrow space in the downtown Philly. Penn's landing, this place is known for its quietness as I usually see a very few people thr.

On the Day before the independence, I decided to reach thr to select a careful spot to capture the awesome sight of fire works display on the riverfront.

Though I reached hours before the Dusk, finding a place to stand was very difficult and I quit the idea of finding a spot to fix the tripod. After Careful sneaking inside the crowd, Ignoring the crowd which instantly disliked a guy with a camera and a stand approaching the edge of the water front. I finally found a spot for me nd my camera to rest and test my shots.

So, with this here goes my pics that I clicked above the waterfront with the Ben franklin bridge at the background.

Tamron Macro Lens - Need your Help in deciding

Hi Guys,
I am planning to buy a 'Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 Di SP A/M 1:1 Macro Lens for Pentax' to experiment my skills on Macro.

Though I have read the reviews in Amazon, I need you guys help to decide on this lens. Will the lens correction feature in K-x can be used on this lens?.

1) I have a pentax K-x. How good is the AF of this lens with my K-x body?. Has any one tried it?.

2) Have you guys found any problem with this lens or Do you have any good suggestions?.

3) With f2.8 it should do good for portraits. Has any one tried? and If yes How are the results?.

I always come to this Post seeking for the experts advice before I get any gear. I decided upon K-x/Battery/50mm SMC lens after the debate here.

So, need ur help on deciding this too.

Is the battery Indicator problem resolved in K-x after ver1.01 ?

Hi Guys,

I got a K-x and I took 1495 shots with the Batteries provided in the box ( 4 AA Energizer Lithium Batteries). This was with About 600 Snaps taken with flash
So, the Snaps count is Amazing. The K-x proved that they could take a whooping more shots with the lithium batteries than the advertised 1100 in dpreview.

But I have one problem. I still feel that the battery Indicator problem is not resolved. I got a new pair of LIon batteries after my original ones depleted. But after I fired few shots using my remote control. I saw the Battery Indicator showing Orange ( Which was just my 4th Snap after new batteries). But when I turned off and On, they are now green.

So, is the Battery Indicator problem resolved??Is there any one else facing this problem?.I am quite concerned Since I am already in ver1.01. Please help solve my prob.

Yep, I agree with you guys, You kind off get addicted to the macro shots.
And Yes I will try with a Higher F number and will surely post the results this weekend.

Marc, I have not used any filter. Infact I dont have one. Anyways I will take the snap as suggested by you with the same kit lens with higher F number and will post the result this weekend.
