I think I get the point. Now I'm not worrying about my choice of a tripod anymore.

I tought that 5 -section tripods are not stable enough and as so are not preferable. What head did you choose with your C-269M8 legs?

Hello to all,
I am going to buy a tripod, so I need some advice.
I have been looking at Benro brand as I can buy it locally easily. I need a tripod for my K100D camera with kit lens for macro, night and low light shots, landscapes, may be portaiture...
Do you think this legs are good BENRO А-258m8? Aren't they too heavy for carring on the backpack? Do I need this extra height of 144 cm or I can get A-068m8 - 113 cm/2.5kg or A-168m8 - 120 cm/4kg?
What about this legs Giottos MG 9250B?
I am totally confused with heads - ball heads, 3-way heads. I am leanning to ball heads, but which ones: BH or B, and what size?
Any help will be appreciated!
Please give me an idea. I have read a lot of information about tripods, that's why I am confused! :p

Picasa Web Albums - techuan - pentox
The last shot was made with pentacon auto MC f2.8/29mm lens. I am looking forward to buying a digital camera and to mount my lenses to it! Here in BG it is not possible to proceed films any more as the photo-laboratories are only digital and proceed very low quality copies from film (especially in the town where I live).

Hello from Bulgaria!
I found this forum while I was looking for more information about affordable Pentax DSLR camera.
I own an old (but gold;)) Pentax Spotmatic SP coupled with a Helios 44 M f2/58 lens. I have downloaded the camera manual recently and it was fun to read it.
I am a hobbist photographer, prefer taking pictures of landscapes, low light and macros too.
Nice to meet the community here!
