what do you mean by "the colors are dull"?.. Not as saturated as all today's plastic over processed photos?
I like the colors on these photos very much and I'm very surprised to hear such words...

great depth! And I like bokeh on the last shot.
I noticed (and was surprised to see them) that white trees on the 1st shot - ...oh yes, you live in Finland! ;) by the way - how do you call that white trees in Finland? :) (we call them "Beryozki" :))

This shot was made with very old (from '70s I suppose...) manual-focus "Yashica" lens 50mm@1.9 - beatiful, very soft, smooth and silky lens - Sabi bought it as a present for me in Turkey on a local flea-market.
This lens is so beatiful - I love it even more than my Pentax 43mm limited.
Some modifications were needed to connect this lens to Pentax k10d... |

many, many thanks for all your comments :) I'm very glad you like these shots :)
And about this black frame... yes, technically it's "panoramic mode", but for me it's "wide-screen movie mode" :)))) it adds the mood, isn't it? I like it very much, and the curly girl (she's a photographer also) likes it even more :)

thanks for your kind words!
yes you're right... a lot of today's photos are plastic and over-processed, and I don't like this trend... Photography is loosing its soul...
To be honest, I learned this Post-Processing "classical" style and mood from the girl you see on these photos... :) She's also a talented photographer... She teached me that "saturation" and "contrast" are able to be decreased - not only increased...
