Thanks, I dont know that I would consider myself an authority on panning but I would suggest just being smooth and steady and start out with a faster shutter speed and work your way down from there.

I used my Quantaray 70-300mm, it works but its not my favorite. I hoping to buy the sigma 100-300mm f4 soon.

Glad you guys like them. I am thinking of entering one of them in a rally america photo contest and would like some suggestions on which one you guys think would be best to represent rally america. I've got a few in mind but would like some opinions. Thanks!

Heres a few shots from the Oregon Trail Rally I went to this weekend. Very cool event. Lots of dust. Unfortunately Mirra and Block both rolled their cars so I didnt get to see much of them race, but I hung out with Mirra while his crew tried to fix his car on the side of the road. Anyway, C+C is appreciated enjoy!

Thanks! Yeah it was hard to shoot the scooter races because I was laughing so hard but they were awesome. Most of the pans were shot at 1/90s.

Went to PIR this weekend to shoot the AHRMA vintage motorcycle races. It was a really cool event with lots of bikes. Thought I would share some of my photos. Feedback is always appreciated.

Went out to PIR today to watch the ICSCC road racing practice runs. First time I have shot a race event but I think they turned out pretty cool. Let me know what you guys think and what I can improve on for next time. Thanks!

So I was having fun with the smoke concept, so I shot some more today. Unfortunately I suck at editing so its not quite what I wanted but I think it still looks cool. Just dont look closely, lol!

Yes there is smoke coming up from it in the first one. I was kind of going for the irony of it being a stress relief ball but the ball itself being angry lol. If that makes any sense. Glad you guys like it though.
