Vivitar 85-205mm 2.8/f aperture not working

Hi,

the aparature on this lens does not work! I opened the lens from the back dissembling the rear part and the "aperture controller". With it I noticed that there is a pin that stands by itself attached with a string ( moves the aperture) But nothing is touching it!?!?!

so I guess there is a part missing ...

any suggestions
