Cmon, man. In Europe you will never ever see deals like this. For this price you get only K3 body. We are pissed to see deals not available in this side of ocean.

Yep, it's the worst thing - when you need money for something, you are selling something. And after that you realise, that you have lost A. a goog tool. B. some amount of money (because you mus sell cheaper if you really want to sell).

Cool collection.
My wed combo was K5 + DA*50-135 + FA31 (yep, both lenses are slow AF lenses, but in the end it's all about knowing your gear :). You can cover 90% of situations with these.
Edit:
P.S. of course, there was DA*16-50 and FA 77 in the bag :) I wish to see there Sigma 18-35 f1.8 which is still unavailable for K mount

If that rumor about 24Mpix FF K3 body is true, then we should forget about 2000 bucks for body. Looks more like a 3500 bucks body in US market (and >4000 body for Europe).

So what about K-01 and Q/Q10 ? Do they increase market share?Oh, right - it's a confidential information ;)
Maybe FF will not increase Pentax market share, but it will help to keep current users sticked to this brand for sure.

Well, there was enough threads about this, but there's my list:
1. Smaller AF points.
2. Faster AF.
3. Upgraded versions of FA Ltd. (maybe DA* 31mm f1.8, DA* 43mm f1.9, DA* 77mm f1.8/DA* 85mm f1.4).

Good point :) In Lithuania you allready can buy a second hand K5 for ~565-700$. Unfortunatelly I allready have one.

Agree with gazonk.
Most of threads on PF makes me think that lots (or too much) of guys here thinks that a better camera will make their pictures look better (I always thought it's the lens, when it's a matter of gear). Do you really think so? Or it's not even photography is most important, when you want a better camera (sure, cameras and other stuff is just a toys for big boys in some cases :)? Looks like the only thing is wrong with K5-II(s) - it's not a FF camera (so it's just not a cool toy) :))

Great interview. Now I know: no FF body in next 2 years.
And if that mysterious something what is not on the roadmap is a FF body and FF covering lenses, Pentax, you better say it, because those pentax-guys who are deeper in photography (freelance photographers, fineart makers) are switching to canikon too often, i.e. Pentax is loosing those users who WILL buy high-end lenses and other stuff - you do not need a pro gear to shoot pussies, puppies, kids, sunsets, flowers, or parade in your city. All they need is faster and more accurate AF, greater resolution, i.e. all what goes with high-end FF body.
Personally I will not switch to other brand, because Pentax has all I need (or Sigma has ;), but there is enough pentaxians who now waits a response from canon (5D MKIII) and then they will deside to go with canon or nikon.
