I've had my K1000 for just over two years, and use it regularly without any problems. I've by no means mastered the use of, it but am pretty happy using a camera without any auto functions.
But I don't have a flash! yet.
Problem is I don't know much about them, and most of the information out there seems to be centered around flashes for DSLRs.
I would like a flash that's pretty versatile, and one which would give me a lot of control - although at the same time I don't want to spend hundreds of pounds on my first flash! I've been looking at a few on second hand sites, but I'm not sure they're what I want: AF280T AF400T AF400FTZ etc...
I'd appreciate any advice people have, and also general information on possible flashes for a K1000. What do all the acronyms mean?
