In my K100D I also used Lithium batteries and last winter both my wife and I had the camera out in sub zero temps and never had a problem

Like I originally stated have just moved back to Halifax and been out shooting twice both times with Nikon users and it get boring listening to the Nikon is the best in the world monologue

Was wondering if there any Pentax users who frequent the forum from Halifax Nova Scotia or the surrounding area. I just moved back after being in Toronto for ten years. Just hoping maybe someone would like to meet up and do some photo excursions.

Received my K20D on Friday so spent a few hours on Saturday night taking shots of the moon with the Sigma 50-500
Sorry about that I usually do put the EXIF data in I guess I was not thinking staright this morning

I have the Manfrotto 190XPROB Tripod and use it all the time as I could not hold a camera steady if my life depended on it. My only gripe with the tripod is it's weight, when hiking or just on a long walk it does get heavy. The center column going horizontal is a feature I use quite frequently but do find it is very susceptible to vibration so I am very cautious when using it extended horizontal.

There are numerous clusters of these little flowers through out the conservatory and the butterflies love them.

Yes these shots were taken at Wings of Paradise, Cambridge Ontario. This butterfly conservatory will allow amateur photographers to make an appointment to get in one hour before normal opening times, this allows the use of tripods which are not permitted during the regular hours.

Thanks to all who viewed and commented on my butterfly shots. I highly recommend this lens to anyone considering a macro lens. As far as auto focus is concerned I never use it so it is of no concern not having a limiting switch.
