I thought of you today Racer; a BIG rig stayed at a truck stop at Wangaratta during the day. It is too big to travel on the highway in daylight hours!
Travelling from Melbourne Vic. to Newcastle NSW - 1029 kilometres. Highway speed 40 kph, down to 5kph over bridges and around corners.
It is carrying a generator - one of 4 to be moved this year.
Here's a pic; Big job - Melbourne to Newcastle,KP__8467 by Rodney Grant, on Flickr
well, that was the front half:
here is the back half; Big Job - daytime park @ Wangaratta - the back end,KP__8500 by Rodney Grant, on Flickr
The grey box in the foreground is the generator resting on the ground.
The first windscreen you can see is the cabin that the bloke sits in who steers the 96 wheels on each half of the "trailer".
The next two windscreens you see are the two trucks that push from the rear.

Must be a cross wind, judging by the approach angle of the hood ornament.

...but doesn't ship to Australia!
So I can't buy it.
even if I was mad enough to want it.

I was flabbergasted Ian. I had to go to Google Earth to see your vantage point.
It was only when I had done that and saw that the roof areas of the taller buildings in your pic were not visible that I was convinced that you didn't use a drone or light plane (probably illegally over the city?)
Doesn't St Pauls look tiny compared with the rest of the city?

Whoa, Racer, that is nasty.
Hope the healing goes well, and more so that the pathology on the lump is good news.

Des, I have a question that has been on my mind for some time, and no-one I know has a clue.
We regularly get large flocks of Sulphur-crested cockies in the paddock behind our property, and sometimes a similar size mob of Corellas (both Little & Long billed).
I don't think I have ever seen a mixture of cockies and corellas.
Do they flock together at all? or do they keep their distant from one another?
Just curious.
Rod
