It's a bit crappy, but if you go beyond that, you'll notice the weirdness of these parts stuck into the concrete pad.
They are small, and seem even smaller, when they are lost in the middle of the car park.

Nice pic, Bart.
I've found an idea for my second entry, not really on the title itself, but also about the lines: EXIF capture follows: And that came from A-Ha, "The living daylights". You Tube |

Comes the morning and the headlights fade away"
OK, I'm off topic ;) |

Hello everybody!
I think I have something... and it seems I'll be inaugurating this contest. Don't even try to read what is written on that paper... Camera: Pentax Optio30, shot is 5 minutes old. Macro mode, ISO 200, exposure 1/8th sec. |

Bridges. That is a nice theme, I hope I'll have something interesting to post someday.
For the moment, here's my first entry:
I think I'm not off topic ;)

Hello everybody!
I think I have something... Yes, that's a usual sentence.
Bart, I love this view of the Grande Arche. Too bad they closed the roof section.

I have a bunch of suitable photos, but I can't make my choice yet. A Setra S100, being laid to rest and rotten in a scrapyard. This type of bus was quite an innovation in the bus market, over 40 years ago.

Today, and as my third (and last, until I withdraw one) entry, I wanna be an anarchist off-topic.
Remember the first lines of Gimme Shelter ? Remember the end of the music video for November rain ? (at least its short version)
Got this one: there was a fair, and as a thunderstorm began dropping a heavy rain and hail, the square was abandoned. At the back you can see people getting some shelter.
Camera: as usual. |

This one is gonna be quite errr... special.
When I wrote my first post, I was browsing through my archive and decided my idea (and the picture) wasn't good enough.

Kind of conflict:
I don't think it's a good pic... don't be surprised if I withdraw it in a near future.

Hello!
The subject itself leaves me in a kind of haze... Still I think I have a picture that fits the theme. Pentax Optio P80, ISO 160, 1/60 sec.

You could blame me if someone thinks I'm just trashing the contest...
At first, I thought of this one: But in addition to looking ridiculous (on purpose, this time ;) ), there would NOT be fun.
Instead, let me introduce you... The new 747-8F, just before landing at Le Bourget (IATA: LBG) to attend the Paris Air Show. I was lucky enough to know of the scheduled arrival time (it was said in mainstream newspapers), and to get it when it flew almost over my workplace.
It was its first appearance in France, and possibly outside the US. In case someone'd be interrested, it features new wings, new engines, new materials (some composites, for instance, being shared with the 787). I've chosen this one as #2 with this specific angle to show the new wing design - I might provide some other pics on demand.
Both took with Optio P80. |

Here we are... Mid-term. Time for me to post my last two attempts. Trouville port entrance
And after a slight hesitation between a night ride took from the driver's seat and Concorde late at night...
You won the driver's seat (Sniff & the Tears :) ). night ride
That was at the beginning of this month, in Paris. The night was pretty warm, and I opened the sunroof a bit. I'm driving on the Boulevard de Strasbourg. At the end of the boulevard, rises the Gare de l'Est. |
