WHICH IS THE CHEAPEST AND BEST WAY to take pictures with my TASCO reflective astronomical telescope using my *istD camera. Which adapter(s) do you recommend? I also have a refractive telescope as well. How do I connect to the eyepiece?

I flashed my firmware on my *isDL and now flash no good. The flash works, but the picture taken looks dark??
I'll see tomorrow what daytime pictures look like.

My Pentax *istD works fine with my telephoto lens letting plenty of light into the viewfinder, so that I can manually focus, but the stock 18-55 lens that came with it is SO DARK , even in sunlight, that it is difficult to focus. Am I doing something wrong?

In the review below this guy beat up the zenitar. Did any of you have the same problems , or was his lens defective? Are all of these consistently the same? How many are really concerned with objects way off in the background when they take wide angle shots? Review of the Zenitar 16mm 2.8

Can someone point me to the best value/price for a fisheye or wide angle lens for my *istD . I think that's a k mount? The last quote I got at a photo shop was $500

I like Picturenaut better than QTPFSGUI but Picturenaut is only for Windows OS

Thanks boriscleto!
I tried the program you suggested but on Linux it is called Qtpfsgui . I also used The Gimp to turn up the brightness and contrast. Here is a link to my best one, but it was only created with a 3 jpg files. I have some raw photos that I will connect next.

I know that the GIMP can do it by adding LAYERS, but you have to know whether to ADD SUBTRACT and the amount of %, so I'm hoping that your app boriscleto will be easier.
Thanks.

I set up my *istD to automatically take 3 photos. 1 regular, 1 overexposed and 1 underexposed. When I went to my PENTAX PHOTO LABORATORY 2.12 software (The one that came with my camera) I thought that it would have a way set up to automatically ADD these three together, but I couldn't find that function in the software.
HELP!
