Well, i'm looking for that start :D
At my usual photo job they gave me one preset and i'm using that one and they are happy with the results. I was looking for some easy and fast way but probably i will have to try them all :(. i kind of dislike the editing process.

1 focus point, center on both cameras. For example if there's a powerful light behind or around the subject the k3 will not achieve focus while ks2 has almost no problem.

I use the cameras for event photography, and sometimes portraits, side by side using the same lens (sigma 17-50 or whatever you want) and i found not just a better focus accuracy but also ks-2 is much much faster in obtaining focus while k3 is a couple of seconds slower. My weekly shotcount is over 1000/week, AF settings is af.s on both cameras. k3 is better than k50 (which is by far the worst pentax in autofocus) but is average at best compared with ks2.

It's a really good camera, way better than k3 (first gen) when it comes to AF

i made a small mistake and didn't saw that you already are using a gallery script :(. So sorry for that. in the meanwhile a eas reading a very god post from this forum regardin portofolio websites. In short terms: put the best pictures you got on the first page, even in header :D

a question for my curiosity ... why don't you use for showcase a free image hosting site like: photobucket, flickr, zooomr? Also if you realy want a personal site you can go with free galleries script like coppermine and use themes if you want to change the look.

oooh ... k-x and rechargeable battery ... a nightmare. got 4 AA sanyo 2700, 2 years old ... they work in my old fuji s5800, they usually don't in pentax k-x :(
