Great and most underrated pentax lens. I had one and made trade for da70, never ever I will forgive my self :).
Just got k-3 and da35 so now I can't grab this one, but in near future one will be mine again :)
One more time to say, great lens.

If You sum all facts and calculate coldly pros and cons, 645Z seams like something biiiig. Will wait for reviews and measurements.

I just want to say big Thank You, to all of You who contributed to this thread.
I just made my 16-50 screw driven lens on K-5, and is fast and snappy like new one. Cost of new sdm and replacement is just prolonged for some better times.

Roadmap shows future plans for lenses that will make MF camera equivalent to pro FF bodies from other manufacturers, something like 14-24 24-70 and 70-200 plus true pro body in this case CMOS 645.
So this maybe means that FF 35mm will never come :)))

Is interesting that ppl who come from other systems have words of praise for pentax gear but ppl who are longer with pentax just complain much.
welcome to pentax community Jon

Hmm, in my experience weddings are not drag races or hokey matches, and some images can be directed, also ppl at wedding expect to be photographed and don't mind if wait 2 sec in some position to be photographed nicely, but don't take me like measure I'm just a still life photographer who sometimes shoot weddings.

My votes also goes to DA*s but You need something razor sharp at F2.0 or 2.8 and that are Limiteds that You already have, also DA*s are for flash use indoor at f5.6 when You can get incredible images, with great colors, contrast and details , but F1.8 can catch some natural light atmosphere, A* and voigtlanders are great lens but in wedding are less usable so let them go.

If this lens is optically good wide open I will be very interested for night sky , if is good corrected without to much barrel than probably will replace tamron 10-24 for interiors and architecture.
