Hi. I gave it another go this morning and you wouldn't believe it, all clear sharp shots. This without changing any settings and handheld. By the way i was using centre focus yesterday. This is the second time this has happenned so i will be keeping a close eye on it in the future. thanks for suggestions.

Okay,no caps unless needed. You say its user error, before i posted i tried it on several settings plus i used a monopod. the shutter speed was 1/250. Now can you explain this as user error. Also i had no problems with the a350 or a K20d so why am i having this problem now. The day before i took some good clear shots of a bird but these had blue sky in the background. It seems as soon as i get a bit of background clutter i start having problems with out of focus shots. Some of these were taken at 1/500 and none under 1/100. You seem to know a lot, maybe you can help.

THE Kx DEFINATELY HAS A POOR IMAGE STABILISATION. I COULD USE A SONY A350 AT 300M WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.(.HANDHELD). THE Kx SEEMS GREAT IF YOUR AT 300 MIL AND YOUR SUBJECT IS WELL LIT AND TEN METERS AWAY, BUT TRY ANY CLOSE UP SHOTS USING SMALL KIT LENS AND YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE GETTING A SHARP SHOT. THE OTHER MAIN PROBLEM IS THE OVER EXPOSING OF MOST WHITE OBJECTS, BIRD FEATHERS ETC. SOMETIMES I HAVE TO PUT IN -3 EV COMP. BUT THIS TENDS TO DARKEN ANY SHADOW AREAS. YOU CAN GET AROUND THIS IN A STUDIO BUT ITS MUCH HARDER IN THE BUSH. WHEN THE CAMERA GETS IT RIGHT, GREAT SHARP IMAGES. PERCENTAGE OF SHARP HANDHELD SHOTS IN MY ESTIMATE WOULD BE WELL UNDER 90%.

Hi. I bought one ,only had it a week but i really like it. Picture quality is great plus it is very easy to use . Highly recommended.

HI. NEW MEMBER HERE. ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR MY NEW Kx. THIS CAMERA HAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST SCORES I HAVE SEEN IN A REVIEW. PICTURE QUALITY SAID TO BE EXTREMELY GOOD. CANT WAIT.
