I have been caught out as well. It seems they are 'selling' goods they do not have and then once the money has cleared into their account they say they cannot deliver. Their excuse was that their 'drop shipping' did not come through, whatever that means. I gather they are purchasing the cameras from o/s and then delivering direct to AU buyers. So definitely no Australian warranty.
Mark I have a name and some contact details from their Facebook page, I will PM this information to you in case you have further problems. We will see how quickly they refund...

Hi Folks
I pulled my 16-50 out of the cabinet after being untouched for 6 months and sure enough it's as dead as a door nail... what's so galling is that such an expensive lens breaks just from lack of use, what a pathetic joke!!! Anyway it is out of warranty and Pentax repair seems expensive and slow; are there alternative trusted repairers in Australia?

I toured Europe last year, while I carried 1-3 lenses in hand each day I did have the 15/21/31/43/77 to choose from each day. Initially used 15/31/77, in the evening often just the 31. By the end the 21/43 was a nice bag-less carry. In hindsight I did want for length sometimes. The AF/1.7 makes 77 a 200/f3 and is something I need to test for IQ. Previous Europe trip used the 16-50, much happier with the primes kit - lens juggling skills improve with practice!

Favourite: its really hard to say. The 31 has always been my favourite of the three amigos, by far, but I learned quite a lot about the 43 and 77 on this trip and appreciate them more and more. The 15 and 21 were new; I loved the 15 and hardly used the 21. Which is a bummer because it is my favourite FOV; but I could rarely get it to shine.
RE: length I keep looking for an FA*200/4 Macro, then look at my bank balance, then forget about it...

Just back to this site after a bit of a break.
Anyway went with a prime kit: 15,21,31,43,77 and no regrets. Now considering 1.7 adaptor and 100wr for more reach.
