I thought so. I reset the AF to 0 and went to shoot around yesterday.
Looks fine to me with AF at 0 too.

The DA*55 seems to work fine now with a +10 on the K5.

Thanks! I'm told that it will be away for 4-5 weeks.
What's holding you back from getting the K5? Improved DR, AF, ISO.

Yes. Sent for the backfocus issue. Something my local pentax distro cannot resolve

I tried shooting with 0 and +10. The number of keepers seems consistent.
However the BF is obvious when i do a focus test.
DA*55 wide open
Adam turns 1 yesterday accordingly to the chinese lunar calender.

Thanks Simon. I did a +10 in AF adjustment. However the 55 still seem to be backfocusing :(
