Excellent finish on the P-40, especially in 1/72. Which kit did you end up going with? Please show us more models when possible.

I decided to buy the mark 3.
- I've been using my K-3 since '14, and have wanted to purchase a 2nd body for quite a while
- Current K-3 has had some trigger issues
- I shoot motorsports, so APS-C is fine for giving me a little bit more reach.
- Need a good burst mode
- I shoot in a lot of low light situations, so an upgrade needs to have improved IQ in ISO up to 6400.
- Didn't want to switch brands
- Uses the same Batteries as my K-3
K3 MkIII looks like a substantial improvement over my current K-3. I had briefly tested the K-3 MkII during a night race, and noticed the difference, but had just purchased the Pentax 70-200, so finances were tied up. A test with the K-P was nice, but a different size battery was a turn off. I was looking at a K1 MkII, but rumors of a newer K-3 kept me from making the purchase. The price is absolutely on the high side, but I think with how long I plan to be using it, I'll get my moneys worth.

I prefer the cloud coverage, its gives it a great sense of "breaking through" on its way through the atmosphere.
