... and great thing that iPad geotagged files while download it, you can see on the map where it was captured. I'm waiting firmware update for Eye Fi that eliminate router, they promise it in near future.

No any secret: I had 645D with 35, 55, 90 with adapter, 120 soft with adapter and 200mm. SD1 - 32Gb class 10 and SD2 - Eye-Fi 8Gb X2 Pro D-link router with solar powered battery, iPad with ShutterSnitch 2.0 - all gear worked smooth, no problem. But I did use 35mm and 200mm only at balloon ride. I can't stand beauty of 120 soft pictures. Most useful gadget - IR remote. I set camera and looked at iPad in 1-2 meters away from camera, no one understood is I took pictures or just fiddling with some gadget. When you look at viewfinder people much more tense...

Yes, Fort Jesus! It's standard Pentax adapter 645 to 67 ( ebay) . May be there is 3rd party one with chip?

Thanks! No, Aperture ring - the only way to change value of softness, that disappears at all at f:8 and more. I use 5,6 and half in many cases. It's pity that adapter not transmit F number to camera...

Hi! I'm use ShutterSnitch with 645D on regular basis with smallest jpg ( for me it's more than enough) with no any crashes at all.

One more- now you can delete by choose - jpg, RAW, or RAW+jpg from SD card of camera

I'm tried Pentax utility, but it seem too complicated and for me Aperture better, though it understand DNG only and with frame of technical pixels. Now I convert PEF to DNG with Adobe DNG converter before Aperture. LR not understand PEF, same with new Capture One

Still no English version, just FAQ in English in Japanese Pentax site. But menu similar to K7 in many ways.

I just asked girlfriend of my daughter, sent her money and she ordered 645D through internet, it was delivered 11 of July as promised. Then one Japanese friend handed it to me in Moscow. I asked him to take couple of pix to prove that it's his camera for our wild customs, that's it.

I posted 2 files from 645D converted from DNG in Aperture 3, look at borders at pictures - I think when Aperture will understand native Pentax RAW there will be no such things.

... it's just black frame outside picture and real size as it indicated in specification, DNG conversion issue.

Aperture understand only DNG from 645D, but can't see copyright info and type of lense, though I can see shutter speed, aperture and focal length, camera model and ISO. I think in the future we can use PEF too. And one more thing - Aperture found one more megapixel in 645D! It show 41mp, not 40 - and it's true - file not 7264x5440 as in camera passport but 7408x5536

As I found in Manual for 645D you can set any of 20 languages including English and Russian...

It seems that Pentax 645D will be first MF camera that can use wireless Eye-Fi technology to transfer files to Mac... hope that Aperture will support RAW from 645D (think DNG no problem)
