I purchased a new lens with manual focus out of curiosity. I set the aperture ring to permitted under custom camera setting to make the manual lens to work in my camera but when I started taking some picture it looks like if I choose f/1.7 compared with f/22 there is no difference. The picture always look like f/1.7 even though I set the aperture ring to f/22. Does anybody in this forum had the same experience from the past? |

I have Phenix 52mm f/1.7 MF (without a limited). I just recently purchased the item. It doesn't produce a good picture. It has f/1.7 to 22 stops but when you adjust to f/22 it still look like f/1.7 not sure if this is a camera issue or lens.
I'm using Pentax K-x
