Washing Machines - how to choose?

We use cloth diapers so our requirements were a little different. We wanted a top loader, with selectable fill level (not just auto-fill), second rinse, and it couldn't be an He.

With that in mind, there really was only one option, I believe the model is the GE
GTWN4250DWS. Lowes, Sears, and BestBuy and I believe Home Depot all carried it, so it was easy to find over here. It has been working wonderfully for us and has a nice variety of cycle options.

My favorite vacuum: sebo felix. I hated the dyson and all other bagless ones.

Favorite toaster: breville smart oven (not the compact version). We use it for baking and roasting whenever it will hold what we're making, pretty much anything in an 8" x 8" baking dish. It'll hold a bundt pan or two loaf pans too.

Benro travel angel 0691 vs 1691

I looked at the travel angel series but ended up getting a sirui t1005x because it was fairly cheap and fit in my carry-on bag. It was $179 shipped from Hong Kong with ball head.

Sorry to not answer your point but I had a hell of a time finding info on travel sized tripods when I was looking.

You can take apart two apple remotes, solder the ir leds to a headphone jack and trigger it from your phone. That's what I did.

If you can live with 30MB/s vs the 45MB/s you can get the Ultra version of the card for $29 at B&H - link Not that crazy of a savings, but $12 is $12.

What settings for fill flash on PZ1-p?
Posted By chrish

I have a ZX-L and use my flash on auto mode for fill. I set my SB-28 to auto, and then set it to one or two stops less than what I'm shooting.

E.g., If I was shooting 400asa film at f8 I'd set the speedlight to iso 400, A mode, and f4 then fire away. A mode will work either direct or bouncing off a wall/ceiling.

I'll admit that I dont usually adjust the exposure +2 and slide the mids that far to the left but I find it hard to believe that this kind of post-processing is rarely used on the forums. I didn't even adjust white balance!

Do you even have to focus with this lens?

I mean even at f 3.5 you can still have everything from, what, four feet to infinity in focus?

Vivitar 85mm/1.4 at Overstock.com $238 with Bing Cash Back

Hey all,

I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but with using Bing cashback you can get 30% off of the pentax-mount Vivitar 85/1.4 manual-focus lens.

In Nikon-mount, Ken Rockwell seems to give it a pretty good review: Vivitar 85mm f/1.4

I've never used Bing cashback so, your mileage may vary but here's the basics of doing it.

1. Go to Bing and do a search for Overstock
2. Just below "ALL RESULTS" you should see a blue overstock.com link that says "Bing cashback" on the same line. Click the blue link.
3. Even though it says 15% on the search page when you click the link a window will pop up saying that it's 30% cash back, you will need to sign in with a microsoft/hotmail account or sign up for an account
4. Do a search for Pentax 85

Again, I've never used Bing cashback so I have no idea how long it takes Microsoft/Bing to send you your money...

edit:
cashback has now dropped to 15%
